Recommend. Devoured this book. A deeply interesting concept, executed beautifully – the mystery and the cleverness of the narrative keep you hooked. Gave me the same joy as Project Hail Mary and The Martian, but there’s more here. The ideas have real implications that translate beyond the page. Short, never overstays its welcome, and definitely deserving of a re-read.

Came away with a sense of fun and a sense of my mind having been expanded – even if I haven’t sat down to consider how just yet.
